A story, of sorts, about Ash & Ish, who are one and the same but different. Begun in 2014, taken up again in 2020, it was written purely for the pleasure of its writing. In the past I have written things for the pleasure of their punctuation; this, conversely, has none, relying instead on the rhythm of its words for its telling. Its characters are Ash, Ish, Mrs Jinks, Mr Tripp, the Misses Jenks and Mr Sales, and its four parts are, slightly confusingly, bound up as parts 1 and 2, which come in a letterpress printed cover on hand-made St Armand paper.
